Friends of Sampford Brett Church

FRIENDS OF ST. GEORGE’S CHURCH.

St. George’s Church stands at the end of the Street and has been the centre for Christian worship for at least eight hundred years.  We are pleased to be able to keep the Church open every day for visitors to enjoy the peace, quiet and beauty of this ancient Church.

Would you consider becoming a ‘Friend of St. George’s Church?

The general upkeep and running costs of our Church amount to £200 a week and as our congregation numbers dwindle this figure is becoming more difficult to achieve. Your donation, however small, will help us keep the church open.

Will you help?

You may not be a regular church attendee but your support would be appreciated to ensure our Church remains for many future generations for regular worship, Baptisms, Weddings and Funerals.  Alternatively you may wish to light up the Church tower for a special occasion or in memory of a loved one.

If you would like to join please complete the form on the adjacent page and return to the Treasurer of the PCC together with your donation.
